Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unmanned moving body and a control method for the unmanned moving body such that the unmanned moving body is made to travel along a road at a curved part and an intersection in a certain environment with the road and without no previous available information associated with the road and intersection, and to take smooth right and left turnings even at the intersection only with a turning instruction.SOLUTION: When there is no special instruction, a travel path R along a road which is easy to continue to travel following a travel path that a semi-autonomous travel vehicle A traveled so far is extracted on a local map based upon distance measurement data, and the semi-autonomous travel vehicle A is made to autonomously travels along the travel path R along the road. When the route is changed to another travel path Rl at an intersection C, a change path Rc to the other travel path Rl based upon a new steering command received when the vehicle enters the intersection is set, and the semi-autonomous travel vehicle A is made to travel to the other travel path Rl through the change path Rc.
