Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, in a conventional monitoring system, there is a possibility that heat generation from an engine of a vehicle like a truck may be detected as fire in the case of entrance of the vehicle into a monitoring area because, when a faint change in temperature is detected as fire, even slight heat generation is detected as fire due to the change in temperature being faint.SOLUTION: A fire monitoring system includes: an infrared imaging unit which picks up thermal images of a monitoring target and a heat generating moving object in a monitoring area; a heat generation area extraction unit which extracts a heat generation area from the thermal images; a heat generation determination unit which determines a cause of heat generation on the basis of thermal image information; and a notification unit which notifies an operator when the determination result shows that heat generation is caused by fire. The heat generation determination unit includes: movement distance calculation means which calculates a distance over which the heat generation area has been moved; determination condition storage means in which a determination condition is stored; and fire determination means which determines which of the fire of the monitoring target and the heat generation of the heat generating moving object the heat generation area has resulted from, on the basis of the movement distance and the determination condition. |
