Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material that is excellent in water resistance and chemical resistance and has excellent adhesiveness to a hardly-adhesive material.SOLUTION: The sealing material contains polyester having a melting point, measured by differential scanning calorimetry, of at least 150°C. The polyester comprises: a dibasic acid component that has two carboxyl groups each containing 12.5-17.5 mol% of a dimer acid component; and an alcohol component that contains at least two hydroxyl groups.
