Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a blade passing speed in bread as low as possible without stopping the continuous conveyance of the bread with respect to the blade even if a processing speed is made high.SOLUTION: A first force-feed member 46 and a second force-feed member 50 are disposed in a first endless chain 38 and a second endless chain 40 so as to be adapted to independently travel adjacently in the moving direction. The first force-feed member 46 having received a loaf of bread 12 from a separating conveyor 16 advances at a second speed lower than a first speed during the force-feed of loaves of bread 12 which are mutually pressed up to a slice position S of the blade 10 at the first speed. Then, at timing when a subsequent loaf of bread 12 is force-fed by the second force-feed member 50 and made to abut on the rear end of the precedent loaf of bread 12 force-fed by the first force-feed member 46, and the second force-feed member 50 force-feeds the subsequent loaf of bread 12 at the second speed to start pressurization, the first force-feed member 46 releases the force-feed of the loaves of bread 12 and recedes from a conveyance path C. |
