Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erosion-resistant cast which has an erosion resistance extremely more excellent than a conventional one and a molten metal contacting member composed of the cast, and further to provide a method for manufacturing the erosion-resistant cast capable of stably obtaining the erosion-resistant cast excellent in equipment cost or running cost and excellent in the erosion resistance.SOLUTION: The erosion-resistant cast includes a matrix metal layer having a predetermined composition and an oxide layer formed at the surface of the matrix metal layer. A part of the oxide layer is extended in the shape of cilia at the crystal grain boundary of the matrix metal.
