Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erosion-resistant cast which has an erosion resistance extremely more excellent than a conventional one, and is excellent in equipment cost or running cost during manufacturing, and also to provide a molten metal contacting member composed of the cast.SOLUTION: The erosion-resistant cast includes a matrix metal layer and an oxide layer formed at the surface of the matrix metal layer. A part of the oxide layer is extended in the shape of cilia at the crystal grain boundary of the matrix metal.
