PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for calculating an inspection value without reading out information from an unused area within a work area.SOLUTION: The game machine for performing a game by using prescribed game media includes a main control section for controlling progress of a game; the main control section includes a storage section; a prescribed continuous range in the storage section is set to be a work area of a program when the main control section performs control; the work area includes a used area for storing information used when performing control and the unused area not storing information used when performing control; and the main control section includes an inspection value generator of generating an inspection value, based on one portion or entire portion of information stored in the used area without reading out information stored in the unused area.
