PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time required for the reconvergence of an equalization coefficient caused by the changeover of a receiving system in selective diversity, using a negative correlation antenna in a reception device.SOLUTION: Two antennas 1-1, 1-2 having negative correlation relation are provided in the reception device. Changeover means 4 changes a signal to be processed in regard to signals received by the two antennas 1-1, 1-2. An adaptive equalizer 6 performs equalization processing of the signal determined to be processed by the changeover means 4, using the equalization coefficient. In synchronization with timing at which the changeover means 4 performs the changeover, equalization coefficient modification means 7 modifies the equalization coefficient for use in the adaptive equalizer 6.
