TICKET GATE SYSTEM AND TICKET EXAMINATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket gate system and ticket examination method capable of accurately understanding the use state of users when transportation of users is provided through transfer and performing accurate adjustments among transportation companies.SOLUTION: A ticket gate system transports users by using a second transportation from a first transit station where transit from a first transportation to the second transportation is possible and transferring users to a third transportation at a second transit station where transit from the second transportation to a third transportation is possible when there is an interrupted section in the first transportation. The ticket gate system comprises writing means for writing transfer boarding information on ticket media having commutation ticket information which includes the interrupted section in their commutation sections when users enter into the second transportation at the first transit station, and deletion means for deleting the transfer boarding information from the ticket media when users exit the third transportation at the third transit station.
