VACUUM CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner in which a dust collecting container can be popped with simple structure, without using a coil spring.SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes: a dust collecting container 9; a dust collection chamber 10 which is provided in a vacuum cleaner body 5 and which can freely attachably/detachably house the dust collecting container 9; and an upper lid 8 which freely openably/closably covers an upper opening of the dust collection chamber 10. A locking part 11 is provided in the lower face of the upper lid 8 while a part 12 to be locked with the locking part 11 is provided in the upper part of the dust collecting container 9. With an operation of opening the upper opening of the dust collection chamber 10 from a closed state of the upper lid 8, the locking part 11 locks the part 12 to be locked to pull up the dust collecting container 9. When the upper lid 8 opens for more than a prescribed position, the locked state of the locking part 11 with the part 12 to be locked is released.
