Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recording device which can reduce waste in a storage region of a storage medium.SOLUTION: A data recording device comprises an acquisition means acquiring a first type of data and a second type of data, and a recording means recording the first type of data or the second type of data acquired by the acquisition means in a storage medium. The first type of data and the second type of data are different in a data unit when recorded in the storage medium. The recording means refers to a first pointer indicating a logical position in the storage medium relevant to the first type of data to determine a starting position of recording the first type of data based on the logical position indicated by the first pointer. The recording means refers to a second pointer indicating a logical position in the storage medium relevant to the second type of data to determine a starting position of recording the second type of data based on the logical position indicated by the second pointer. The recording means starts recording of the first type of data or the second type of data from the determined starting position.
