IMAGE OUTPUT APPARATUS AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output apparatus capable of combining and outputting a photographic image and simplified map data which is expected by a user.SOLUTION: When any shot image is selected from each shot image associated with shooting location information (S1, S2), and a map display form corresponding to an intended use (e.g., sightseeing priority/railroad priority/shop priority) is set (S5, S6), a map of an area corresponding to its shooting location is written in an output buffer (S3, S8), and each object (e.g., a mountain/a river/a road/a building) included in the map is selectively drawn according to importance corresponding to the set intended use (S4, S7, S9-S13). On the map generated according to the set intended use, the selected shot image is combined according to its shooting location (S14). Therefore, not only can any shot image be combined on a map of an area corresponding to its shooting location and output, but also each object included in the map can be simplified to an object with high importance according to a user's intended use and drawn.
