Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective emitter manufacturing apparatus for a solar cell.SOLUTION: A selective emitter manufacturing apparatus for a solar cell includes: a laser section for outputting a laser beam; a transmission section for transmitting the output laser beam; a number of collimating lenses that collimate the transmitted laser beam and have different focal distances from one another; a galvanometer scanner for polarizing the collimated laser beam to a desired position on the solar cell; a condenser lens for converging the laser beam travelling via the galvanometer scanner onto the solar cell for radiation; and a lens transport section that makes the collimating lens reciprocate between a first position located on an optical route between the transmission section and galvanometer scanner and a second position located beyond the optical path between the transmission section and galvanometer scanner. The collimating lens having a spot size suitable for selective emitter processing is selected from among a number of collimating lenses to be located at the first position.
