Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust roller bearing which combines prevention of misalignment with securement of a load capacity.SOLUTION: The thrust roller bearing includes a thrust retainer 22 for rotatably retaining thrust rollers 19, the thrust retainer being composed of a plurality of retainer split bodies 23 which are split and arranged inside a roller housing space 18 over the whole perimeter of the roller housing space 18. Each retainer split body 23 has two protruding parts 24, 25 having a semicircular cross-sectional shape on an outer wall face 23C1 of an outside coupling part 23C, the protruding parts being spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction of an outer race 14. When each retainer split body 23 is displaced toward an inner peripheral face 15B1 of the outer race 14 while moving in the circumferential direction in the roller housing space 18 in association with relative rotation of an inner race 12 and the outer race 14, apical parts 24A, 25A of the respective protruding parts 24, 25 come in contact the inner circumferential face 15B1 of the outer race 14. Thereby, misalignment can be prevented and a load capacity can be maintained.
