PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate replacement of a decorative sheet and to suppress split and wrinkles of the decorative sheet while maintaining an excellent walking feeling on tatami mats or the like, in a floor material using a core material for a tatami floor and the decorative sheet.SOLUTION: A floor material 1 includes a core material 3 for a tatami floor and a decorative sheet 5 for covering a surface of the core material 3 for a tatami floor, and the core material 3 for the tatami floor and the decorative sheet 5 are integrated by intermittently fixing the end part of the decorative sheet 5 to an end part 3a in the width direction and an end part 3b in the longitudinal direction of the core material 3 for a tatami floor by sewing. For the decorative sheet 5, a surface material 15 to which resin is applied or which is impregnated with the resin and a back surface material 25 are stuck and integrated. The back surface material 25 has such prescribed flexibility that it can follow the deflection deformation of the core material 3 for a tatami floor and such prescribed flexural rigidity that the decorative sheet 5 is not wrinkled when intermittently fixed to the core material 3 for a tatami floor.
