LIGHT REFLECTIVE BLOCK AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light reflective block which has high resistance to abrasion and peeling and exhibits water permeability, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A light reflective block is formed of porous concrete, which is made from white cement 21 kneaded with white aggregate 22 and light reflective material 23, having a surface layer 20 of which white cement 21 on the surface is washed out with pressurized water, so that the white aggregate 22 and the light reflective material 23 are exposed. The surface layer 20 can have a large thickness to achieve high resistance to abrasion and peeling. The light reflective material 23 can be exposed without damage, so as to efficiently reflect light. The block exhibits water permeability which prevents rainwater from puddling on the surface, enhancing safety of traveling and walking during rainy weather.
