PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control apparatus that can reduce energy consumption in a vehicle including a controllable stabilizer.SOLUTION: The vehicle control apparatus includes at least either a damping force variable mechanism 20 that varies a damping force of a suspension 4 of the vehicle 1 or an elastic force variable mechanism that varies an elastic force of the suspension, and a control amount variable stabilizer 10 that variably controls an anti-roll moment that controls variations in a roll direction occurring in the vehicle. The vehicle control apparatus sets a control amount of the control amount variable stabilizer according to a steering state and the vibrations occurring in the vehicle.
