MOP CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device which does not wash a mop with water in a bucket but always wash the mop directly with clean washing water, collects foul water resulting from mop washing not with a bucket but with a foul water collecting vessel, which merely serves as a foul water collector that receives the foul water flowing out of sponge, has no need of matching the size of the foul water collecting vessel to the lateral size of the mop, is small compared to a conventional washing bucket, and allows washing of a long mop.SOLUTION: The mop cleaner includes a squeezer having a pair of guide rollers between which the mop with the sponge is held and squeezed and a squeezing roller, a support metal part which is located below the squeezer and is fitted with a sprinkler nozzle that sprinkles water directly on a sponge mop pad of the mop with the sponge and with a foul water stopping bar located below the sponge mop pad, and the foul water collecting vessel which is located underneath the squeezer such that the foul water collecting vessel encircles the squeezer.
