SWITCHING DEVICE, NETWORK, AND ADDRESS LEARNING METHOD USED FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device capable of exhibiting a drastic load reduction effect without giving load on a MAC address learning function.SOLUTION: A switching device (1) is used in a closed network in which a MAC address to be used is limited. The switching device (1) includes: determination means (an E-OAM frame determination function 12) for determining whether a received frame is an Ether-OAM frame or not; and MAC address learning means (a MAC address learning function 14) for learning a MAC address by treating the Ether-OAM frame as a learning target when the determination means determines that the received frame is an Ether-OAM frame.
