PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable formed by covering an optical fiber with an outer coat of which the outer coat has a non-black color, and which has excellent various characteristics such as water resistance, tension characteristics and cold resistance, while achieving high flame retardancy.SOLUTION: In the optical fiber cable, an outer coat 3 is formed of an inner layer 3a formed by covering an optical fiber core 1 and an outer layer 3b formed by covering the inner layer 3a, the inner layer 3a is formed of a black polyolefin-based material containing red phosphorus and magnesium hydroxide or the red phosphorus and aluminum hydroxide as a flame retardant, and the outer layer 3b is formed of a non-black polyolefin-based material containing the magnesium hydroxide or the aluminum hydroxide as a flame retardant.
