Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump device, in which a circulation amount of lubricating oil can be properly set according to the pipe length of refrigerant piping configuring a refrigerating cycle.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 100 includes a compressor 1, a four-way valve 2, an outdoor heat exchanger 3, an indoor heat exchanger 5, an expansion valve 6, and an oil separator 7. An oil return pipe 21a having an electromagnetic valve 14a is connected to a bottom face part of the oil separator 7, an oil return pipe 21b having an electromagnetic valve 14b is connected to a side face part of the oil separator 7, the electromagnetic valve 14a is opened and the electromagnetic valve 14b is closed by a control device 15 at the time of long piping, and the electromagnetic valve 14a is closed and the electromagnetic valve 14b is opened at the time of short piping.
