Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide onboard equipment and a method of monitoring a battery, for detecting a deterioration in the battery.SOLUTION: A control circuit obtains the frequency of emergency unload performed before and after the start of an engine of a vehicle from a hard disk device. When the frequency of the emergency unload after the engine is started is larger than the frequency of the emergency unload before the engine is started, the control circuit outputs information showing that the battery of the vehicle has deteriorated.
