PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press machine simplifying constitution of the press machine in which a ram is vertically moved by rotation of a screw mechanism.SOLUTION: In the press machine 1 of a type in which a screw member 9 screwed into a nut member 7 is vertically moved relative to the nut member 7 rotated by a motor 11, the motor 11 and a first double clutch unit 13 are arranged so as to be interlockingly connected to each other, the nut member 7 and a second double clutch unit 15 are arranged so as to be interlockingly connected to each other, a first power transmission route 35A transmitting power when one clutches 13A, 15A in the first and second double clutch units 13, 15 are connected and a second power transmission route 35B transmitting power when the other clutches 13B, 15B in the first and second double clutch units 13, 15 are connected are provided, speed reduction ratios of the first power transmission route 35A and the second power transmission route 35B are made to differ from each other, and a speed reducer 37 is provided in appropriate one of the first and second power transmission routes 35A, 35B.
