PRESSURE-RESISTANT AND EXPLOSION-PROOF TYPE GAS DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-resistant and explosion-proof gas detector capable of giving high responsiveness of gas detection and reducing burden to gas suction means.SOLUTION: In an inventive pressure-resistant and explosion-proof gas detector, a flame arrester having a flame runaway prevention member consisting of a gas-permeable metal sintered body is provided between a gas sensor and the flame runaway prevention member and surrounds the gas sensor so as to partition a gas introduction space, and a guard member is provided so as to surround the flame arrester. Further, a cover member is provided to cover the guard member, a sleeve-like gas introduction nozzle supplying an inspection gas introduced by gas suction means to the gas introduction space via the flame runaway prevention member penetrates hermetically through the cover member and is screwed in and attached to the guard member. The gas introduction nozzle is provided in such a manner that the tip part thereof is elastically deformed in the axial direction and a tip face where a gas jet port is opened is pressed against and firmly attached to a surface of the flame runaway prevention member.
