Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyurethane, by which a high quality polyurethane can be produced from the transesterification reaction of a polycarbamate with a polyhydroxy compound in a relatively short time.SOLUTION: The method for producing the polyurethane is characterized by transesterifying the polycarbamate with the polyhydroxy compound in the presence of a transesterification catalyst comprising a titanium compound and an unsaturated monobasic carboxylic acid.
