Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can perform high speed print.SOLUTION: When sequentially transmitting printing data 60 that relates to a pixel area A of the same position from a transmission means 45 to a reception means 46 in a carrying direction X, a predetermined time T2 in which part of printing data 60 where a transmission error is detected is provided, during starting of the transmission of the printing data 60 and starting of the transmission of the next printing data 60, and the printing data 60 that relate to the pixel area A corresponding to a discharge port 20 located at the upstream side of carrying direction X is transmitted in advance in the predetermined time T2.
