THERMAL TRANSFER INK RIBBON, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer ink ribbon which prevents static electricity from being generated so as not to cause any problem to the printing even when loaded on a thermal printer or the like and not to require controlling humidity inside a factory where a manufacturing device of the thermal transfer ink ribbon is installed or installing an antistatic brush or an ionizer on a thermal printer or a small winding device, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The thermal transfer ink ribbon is provided with a ribbon film 4 and the thermal transfer ink 5 applied on the ribbon film 4 by attention to adding or spraying an antistatic agent 32 during the manufacturing process of the thermal transfer ink ribbon. The antistatic agent 32 is applied to at least either one of the ribbon film 4 and the thermal transfer ink 5.
