APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WORKPIECE STACK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a workpiece stack, which are suitable for production by operating press equipment continuously.SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing a workpiece stack is provided, in which a plate-shaped metallic material W1 is blanked to form a plate-shaped workpiece W having a predetermined shape, and a plurality of the plate-shaped workpieces W are stacked to form a workpiece stack. The apparatus includes: a die device 1 for blanking a metallic material; a lifting mechanism 2 as a stacking jig moving mechanism for moving a stacking jig 10 to a stacking position A at which the plate-shaped workpieces W are stacked; a retaining mechanism 20 for retaining the blanked plate-shaped workpieces W at a retaining position which is different from the stacking position A, until the number of plate-shaped workpieces W held reaches a preset number; and a knock-out mechanism 25 for when the number of plate-shaped workpieces W held by the retaining mechanism 20 reaches the preset number, knocking out the plate-shaped workpieces W in the blanking direction, so that the plate-shaped workpieces W are stacked on the stacking jig 10 placed at the stacking position A.
