METHOD FOR REMOVING CASTING SAND, AND CASTING SAND REMOVING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing casting sand and a casting sand removing device which can effectively and efficiently peel and remove the casting sand of a casting using a core, and further, abrasives to be used can be cyclically used.SOLUTION: A casting is installed in a removing chamber, and many abrasives of a prescribed quantity with particle diameters of 1 to 5 mm are charged to the casting while vibrating the removing chamber at a frequency of 40 to 60 Hz, an amplitude of 5 to 15 mm and an acceleration of 20 to 50 G. The removal of the casting sand of the casting and the peeling removal of the seizure part of the core are performed, and the abrasives are recovered and are cyclically used so as to be used for the following casting.
