Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image resolution by representing different portions of an image on each of many pixel sub-components, rather than on entire pixels.SOLUTION: Pixel sub-components 632, 633, 634 are arranged to form horizontal or vertical stripes of individual colors. Using separately controllable nature of the individual RGB pixel sub-components, screen resolution is effectively increased in the vertical dimension. An action conversion process maps samples 622, 623, 624 of image data 620 to the pixel sub-components to yield the respective pixel sub-components representing different portions of the image. Rather than generating a color level for entire pixels based on a single sample or the same portion of the image, a color level is independently generated for each of the pixel sub-components of red, green and blue based on the different portions of the image 620. |
