WATER LUBRICATION TYPE HYDRAULIC POWER GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water lubrication type hydraulic power generator that prevents harmful foreign matters from getting into lubricating water in a bearing, in a configuration that the lubricating water of a water-lubricated bearing is taken out of an upstream part of a water turbine body.SOLUTION: The hydraulic power generator is equipped with: a rotary vane 17 having a propeller blade 15 to be rotated by water flowing in the water turbine body 2 and a runner 16 to rotate integrally with the propeller blade 15; and a stator 20 installed at the outside of the rotary vane 17. The rotary vane 17 is rotatably supported by the water-lubricated bearings 30, 31 which serve as a radial bearing and a thrust bearing for the runner 16. The water-lubricated bearings 30, 31 are supplied via a feedwater pipe 41 with the water taken out of a bearing feedwater port 40 located at the upstream part of the water turbine body 2, and configured so as to function as a bearing by forming a water film between the rotary vane 17 and themselves. The bearing feedwater port 40 is equipped with a filter unit 50 having a filter medium 51 with a mesh opening smaller than a gap S between the water-lubricated bearings 30, 31 and the rotary vane 17.
