Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for suppressing the generation of hydrogen sulfide gas contained in sedimentary waste of a stable type final disposal plant.SOLUTION: A stable aqueous dispersion containing ferric hydroxide colloid is directly adapted to reclaimed waste containing hydrogen sulfide and useful as a generation inhibitor for the hydrogen sulfide gas in the sedimentary waste. A generation inhibitor for the hydrogen sulfide gas is an aqueous dispersion of the ferric hydroxide colloid with a pH of 1.00-2.90 and an iron concentration of about 1.0-6.0 w/v% and satisfies the formula: -0.339ln(x)+1.55=
