PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve virtual business card exchange.SOLUTION: The virtual business card exchange is achieved by a business card exchange information processing apparatus including: a user personal information storage part which can store two or more pieces of user personal information each having a user identifier, user information, and a user's business card image; a business card exchange information storage part which can store one or more piece of business card exchange information as information to which the user identifier and a business card image of a user having exchanged business cards are made to correspond; an other-user contact information reception part which receives other-user contact information having a user identifier and other-user information associated with the other user from one user; and a business card exchange processing part which performs retrieval from the user personal information storage part using the other-user contact information when receiving the other-user contact information, and stores the business card exchange information storage part with business card exchange information to which a business card image paired with user information matching the other-user information and the user identifier that the other-user contact information has are made to correspond.
