HOT WATER STORAGE TYPE WATER HEATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type water heater that can be easily installed without considerably deteriorating usability or beautiful appearance even if a faucet is installed.SOLUTION: The water heater includes: a hot water supply faucet 20 branched from a hot water supply connection port 13 and provided protruding forward in a recessed step 11; a front cover 16 having a cutout 21 that is formed by being cut out from an upper end of the position corresponding to the hot water supply faucet 20 to cover the recessed step 11; and an auxiliary plate 23 closing an upper part of the cutout 21 than the hot water supply faucet 20. One end side of the auxiliary plate 23 is provided with an engaging part 28 engaged with a locking part 26 disposed near the cutout 21 of the front cover 16, and the other end side of the auxiliary plate 23 is provided with a fixing part 27 inserted and fixed between a frame 14 and the front panel 10. Thereby, the root of the hot water supply faucet 20 is concealed by the front cover 16 and the auxiliary plate 23.
