VALVE GEAR FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve gear for an internal combustion engine, in which a connection part of a valve drive rocker arm and an engine valve can be sufficiently lubricated while avoiding deterioration in the rigidity of the valve drive rocker arm.SOLUTION: The valve gear includes a guide part 77 which guides oil overflowing from an oil reservoir 75 of a valve drive rocker arm 69 to a connection part side of a stem 18a of a pair of engine valves 18 and a top end of a pair of valve abutting parts 69a. The guide part 77 includes: a distributing part 77a the upper face of which is downwardly inclined as going from a center part between the pair of valve abutting parts 69a to each of the valve abutting parts 69a, and both side ends of which are extended to the top ends of the valve abutting parts 69a; and a pair of downward guide parts 77b which are extended downward from the respective side ends of the distributing part along the outside outer surfaces of the valve abutting parts 69a, and the lower ends of which are protruding into the engine valve side than the top end bottom faces of the valve abutting parts 69a. The lower ends of the downward guide parts 77b have portions extending along the top end bottom faces of the valve abutting parts 69a to the connection part side.
