Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank in which any inferior fuel is not fed in a tank body even when inferior fuel is fed from a fueling gun, and any filter is not damaged even when a fueling gun having a relatively long nozzle part is used.SOLUTION: The fuel tank 1 includes a filter 30 installed in a filler neck 10 projected from an upper part of a tank body 3, and a cap which is attachably/detachably fitted to a fore end of the filler neck 10 to close a filler opening 10a. A receiver 15 for receiving a flange 32 provided in an annular manner on an upper part of the filter 30 is provided in the filler neck 10. A cylindrical part 33 having the diameter smaller than that of the flange part 32 is projected from the upper part of the filter 30, and one end of a chain with the other end thereof being connected to the cap 50 is connected to the cylindrical part 33. Further, the filler neck 10 is formed so that the total length of the length Lf in the axial direction of the filler neck and the length Lr in the axial direction of the filter 30 extending from the filler neck 10 is larger than the length Lg of a nozzle part 61 of the fueling gun 60. |
