PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser processing machine shortening a time lag when a processed object is irradiated with laser beams and improving processing quality and processing accuracy of the processed object.SOLUTION: Whether or not a light path of laser beams in a light focusing part 21 or a movement distance L of a holding device 30 is a predetermined distance or longer is determined. When it is determined that the movement distance L is the predetermined distance or longer, laser beams are emitted. This processing is simpler than processing for detecting relative movement speed, controlling output of the laser beams B and irradiating the processed object W, and can shorten processing time. Thus, this can reduce a time lag when the processed object W is irradiated with the laser beams B, so as to improve processing quality and processing accuracy of the processed object W.
