METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING ORGANIC WASTE WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for treating organic waste water capable of effectively reusing concentrated water obtained by electrodialysis.SOLUTION: The method for treating organic waste water includes: a pretreatment step of carrying out SS removal treatment 5 constituted by at least one or a combination of at least two selected from biological treatment, coagulating sedimentation treatment, sand filtration treatment and precision filter membrane treatment after carrying out softening treatment 3 to the organic waste water containing salts and organic matter; an electrodialysis treatment step of separation into electrodialysis concentrated water and electrodialysis-treated water by electrodialysis; and a reverse osmosis membrane treatment step 7 for separation into reverse osmosis concentrated water and reverse osmosis membrane-treated water by reverse osmosis membrane treatment. The electrodialysis concentrated water obtained by the electrodialysis treatment step 10 is supplied to an electrolytic treatment apparatus 13 so as to be electrolyzed, and sodium hypochlorite solution is generated.
