CUSHION BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a seating person from feeling strange and uncomfortable when the person sits on a seat cushion, in a cushion body equipped with an ottoman projecting forward from the seat cushion.SOLUTION: In the seat cushion 12 and the ottoman 13, pads 19, 20 formed from a foamable raw material and a reinforcing material 22 covering the reverse face of the pads 19, 20 are integrally formed, and a bendable bend 18 is formed between the seat cushion 12 and the ottoman 13. Further, at least at a part corresponding to the bend 18 of the reinforcing material 22, a non-impregnated part 23 is formed which is not impregnated with a foamable raw material. This non-impregnated part 23 is not impregnated with the foamable raw material and is not hardened and soft. Consequently, when a seating person sits on the seat cushion 12, with the ottoman 13 lowered, even if the bend 18 abuts on the thigh of the seating person, the person is prevented from feeling strange and uncomfortable due to the hardness of the reinforcing material 22 around the bend 18.
