Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar lighting device that has comparatively low cost and superior durability, and capable of making light from LED elements emit from the surface of a sheet.SOLUTION: Wiring 7 is entered from an opening 2d provided at a pivotal support part 2c of an axis part 2 and is connected to a substrate 13 in the vicinity of an opposite end through inside of the axis part 2, so that it is extended comparatively long in the axis 2. Accordingly, with a level of rotation of widing of a light guide sheet 3 to the axis part 2, the twisting which is caused on the wiring 7 is reduced, and thereby the breaking or the like of the wiring 7 can be effectively avoided.
