A file division and duplication part 120 divides the original file 101 into a plurality of division data 102. The file division and duplication part 120 selects division data 102 and duplicates the selected division data 102. A file write part 130 writes a plurality of division data 102, obtained by duplication, on a magnetic disk 191 alongside. The file division and duplication part 120 and data write part 130 write files of the same kind included in an image file of each virtual machine together to the magnetic disk 191 by repeating selection, duplication, and writing of all the division data 102.
