Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble processing oil composition for a fixed abrasive wire saw, the composition having high viscosity and moisture retaining property and excellent cleaning property compared to a conventional commercial water-soluble processing oil agent, in a cutting process of a brittle material such as glass, sapphire, ceramics, silicon and neodymium using a fixed abrasive wire saw.SOLUTION: The water-soluble processing oil composition for a fixed abrasive wire saw contains water and a thickener having a weight average molecular weight of 10,000 or more, and the composition shows a dynamic viscosity of 4 to 40 mm/sec at 40°C.
