PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive cutting device in which shredding rubbish cut by a spiral cutter accumulates to a central part in a storing container.SOLUTION: The cutting device includes a spiral cutter A. The spiral cutter includes a plurality of first cutting blades 2A at one end side; and a plurality of second cutting blades 2B at the other end side. A first housing recess 6 of a spiral shape is disposed between a plurality of the first cutting blades 2A, and a second housing recess 7 of a spiral shape is provided between a plurality of the of second cutting blades 2B. A plurality of the first housing recesses 6 are formed in a spiral shape so that a part positioned at one end side of an rotation axis 1 may be positioned at a front side of a rotation direction of the rotation axis 1 rather than a part positioned at middle part side, and a plurality of the second housing recesses 7 are formed in a spiral shape so that a part positioned at the other end side of the rotation axis 1 may be positioned at a front side of a rotation direction of the rotation axis 1 rather than a part positioned at a middle part side.
