Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed circuit board which prevents an electrostatic breakdown of a laser diode built in an optical pickup device which performs readout operation for a signal recorded in a signal recording layer provided to an optical disk.SOLUTION: An anode pattern 8 connected to an anode of the laser diode and a cathode pattern 10 connected to a cathode of the laser diode are closely arranged in the vicinity of an end surface 6A of a printed circuit board 6, and the anode pattern 8 and cathode pattern 10 are short-circuited by a conductive clip member 11 having the printed circuit board 6 sandwiched and released from being short-circuited by separating the conductive clip member 11 from the printed circuit board 6.
