PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft bracket and a rudder which are arranged so as to reduce the fluid resistance.SOLUTION: A ship includes a propeller shaft 3 projecting backwardly from a stern part 1, a propeller 4 mounted in the middle of the propeller shaft 3, a shaft bracket 8 which is arranged behind the propeller 4, and has a strut 5 projecting downwardly from the stern part 1 and a shaft supporting part 7 which is formed on a lower end of the strut 5 and supports a rear end of the propeller shaft 3, and a rudder 10 which is arranged behind the shaft bracket 8 and extends downwardly from the stern part 1. The strut 5 of the shaft bracket 8 and the rudder 10 are arranged in series in the longitudinal direction.
