Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse discharge generation device that can generate a pulse voltage of a high repetition frequency without significantly lowering efficiency.SOLUTION: A primary winding of a transformer and a drain-source junction of a MOSFET are inserted in a conductive path from a positive electrode to a negative electrode of a DC source. When a channel of the MOSFET changes from a conducting state to a nonconducting state, a current flowing through the conductive path is interrupted and a main pulse voltage is output to a secondary winding of the transformer by mutual induction. When the pulse voltage is applied to a discharger, a kickback occurs to bias a parasitic diode of the MOSFET forward, and the parasitic diode of the MOSFET conducts reversely and then recovers reversely to output an accompanying pulse voltage to the secondary winding of the transformer. The main pulse generated induces the accompanying pulse, which in turn induces the next accompanying pulse. The length of an off period is set such that one or more accompanying pulse voltages are generated in the off period.
