Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel battery having separators and current collector materials improved in corrosion resistance and durability, and an enhanced power generation performance, and arranged to prevent the deterioration of the power generation efficiency and performance of the fuel battery owing to a long-term operation under the condition of a high temperature.SOLUTION: The solid oxide fuel battery has: MEA cells 3 each including an electrolyte 2 and a pair of electrodes consisting of an air electrode 4 and a fuel electrode 5; and separators 7 and 8 provided on sides of the air electrode and the fuel electrode respectively. In the solid oxide fuel battery 1, at least the surface of the air electrode-side separator 7 is coated with a nickel-cobalt alloy (see the reference numeral 6), and the coating is performed by plating.
