Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems caused by an optical sheet disposed in a light-incident side of a protective film.SOLUTION: A protective film 50 is joined to a light-incident side of a polarizer 41 to constitute a polarizing plate 40 in a light-incident side of a liquid crystal display panel. The protective film 50 for the polarizing plate in the light-incident side has a light-diffusing layer 51a containing a base part 59a made of a resin material and a diffusion component 59b dispersed in the base part 59a. The diffusion component 59b of the light-diffusing layer 51a has refractive index isotropy, while the base part 59a of the light diffusing layer 51a has refractive index anisotropy.
