COMPONENT FIXING ENGAGEMENT PIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component fixing engagement pin which fixes a fixed member to a component, and which is allowed to be easily inserted into a shaft hole of the component when mounted in the shaft hole, and prevented from coming off after mounted on the component.SOLUTION: At one end of a shaft part 32 insertable through an engagement hole 14h and the shaft hole 20h, a locking collar portion 34 is integrally formed, and at the other end of the shaft part 32, a plurality of engagement portion pieces 36 are formed to which elastic force is imparted in the expanding direction. On each of the engagement portion pieces 36, a shoulder portion 36a is formed to clamp a first clamped outer face 14a of a back panel 14 (the fixed member) in the axial direction, and at a position on the further axial one-end side than the shoulder portion 36a, a temporarily holding portion 36b is formed to be inserted into the shaft hole 20h of a carpet 20 (the component) to temporarily hold the engagement pin 30 on the carpet 20 in the axial direction. The engagement pin 30 is temporarily held on the carpet 20 by the temporarily holding portions 36b, prior to the engagement with the back panel 14.
