Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition which has excellent detergency of effectively removing dirt to be removed in the cleaning of a skin and hair, and also compatibly has moisture retaining force of not washing off the lipid, an NMF component or the like of a horny layer needed for retaining the moisture of a skin and hair.SOLUTION: The detergent composition comprises: an anionic surfactant; and N-acetylglucosamine. Preferably, the anionic surfactant is a fatty acid soap, and the detergent composition further comprises a chelating agent.
